CLEAN UP! GREEN UP! The Month of May

This year we are celebrating the 10th year of Clean Up! Green Up! For the past nine years community volunteers have taken time out of their busy schedules to pick up litter in Polson and surrounding roads and highways during the month of May. Individuals, businesses, organizations and groups with members of all ages have participated.

It’s that time of year again and we hope to have old and new volunteers join their friends, neighbors and co-workers to help keep our area beautiful. Please call 406-253-0754 to let us know where you would like to clean up or for suggestions of areas in need. That way we can cover as  many areas as possible.

Bring your own bags and equipment or call Dave Newburn at the State Highway Department for bags and reflective vests. His number is: 406-833-0786.

Other community services during the month of May are the Glacier Bank shred day on May 17th and the Transfer Station Electronic Waste Day on May 18th.
