“Hooping it up for Health”
Greater Polson Community Foundation grants funds to Lake County Youth Scholarship Program. Our Community and valley struggle with the ability to stay active and fight and control heart disease and diabetes. The Lake County Youth Scholarship Program recently “teamed” up with GPCF to purchase equipment to provide the opportunity for everyone from 1st grade to adults to push toward self fulfillment and confidence through basketball tournaments in a family setting. Good health starts with physical activity and healthy minds. The LCYSP also teams up with Providence St. Joseph’s and St. Luke’s to have the best care possible at each event as healthcare and prevention are keys to success.
Steve Woll, President of LCYSP states, “We are all excited for the 2021 Hoopfest tournaments throughout our communities and excited to see all the smiling and sweaty faces back on the courts this summer.”
