Ron Bone

Ron moved to Polson in 2011 with his wife Colleen after completing their home on Grinde Bay.  Ron spent his career in the pharmaceutical supply business working 41 years for McKesson Corporation.  His last ten years at McKesson was spent working with Congress to pass comprehensive legislation to enhance the security of the pharmaceutical supply chain from Manufacturer to pharmacy with the goal of eliminating counterfeit drugs. In 2008, Ron testified before the U.S. House of Representatives, Energy and Commerce Committee as an industry expert on anti-counterfeiting.

Ron is now a consultant for the Healthcare Distribution Alliance in the area of pharmaceutical traceability and security working with industry and the FDA to implement the Drug Supply Chain Security Act by 2023.

Ron enjoyed many years of camping and fishing in Yosemite National Park and was looking for a place with that kind of natural beauty when his daughter enticed him to come to Polson.  It was love at first sight and within a week they bought the property to build a home here.

Ron received his BS and MBA degrees from San Jose State University.  Colleen has her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from USC and their daughter Jacqui just graduated from the University of Washington with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Ron has enjoyed being a member of Polson Rotary which focuses on helping the community.  Ron and Colleen are very happy to call Polson their home and look forward to investing their time, energy and resources in the community.
