The stars were perfectly aligned for the Greater Polson Community Foundation’s Passion for Polson annual event on Aug. 1. The setting for the reverse auction was beautiful, weather was perfect and the generosity of those in attendance abounded.

The reverse auction raised over $11,000. As has been done in years past, the GPCF designates a group to receive the money raised from the auction. This year’s designee was the Mission Valley Youth Golf Association, which has been raising money to build an indoor learning center that will be offered to youth golf students free of charge.

Professional Golfers’ Association member Cameron Milton said he was “taken aback by the generosity of our community.”
