Celebration the Season of Light is a program of the Envision Polson! Beautification Committee and sponsored by the Polson Rotary.
Judges spent three hours on the evening of Dec. 17 viewing all the submitted nominations by neighbors and owners. They were impressed with the variety and designs of outdoor lights the Polson area has to offer and encourage Polson residents to get out and view the seasonal lights.
The winners were:
Best Business: Vet Care Montana at 6 7th Ave. W
Best Residence: Bill and Tali Barron at 35210 Rocky Point Rd.
Best Church: Good Shepherd Luthern at 4th Ave E
Best Outdoor Tree: Lakeview Family Chiropractic at 212 2nd Ave E
Best Monochrome: Jim and Barb Sohm at 100 Pheasant Ridge Ct
Best Multiple Colors: Lynda and Dan Swarteenberger at 609 6th Ave E
Best Neighborhood Lights: Skyline Drive
Judges recommend the lights at Bellvue Trailer Ct. #11, the star on Jette Hill and 33825 Fox Road which were extensive and computerized to music. The Fox Road home was outside of the judging area but is worth the drive to see.
Judges want to remind Polson residence to nominate themselves or neighbors for next year’s award. Thank you those who took the time to submit recommendations this year.
